Hanvec ( Hañveg in Breton ) is a French commune in western Brittany in the Finistère department with 2025 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

location

The municipality is located about six kilometers east of the Atlantic coast near the Bay of Brest. It is located in the Armorique Regional Nature Park . Brest is 25 kilometers northwest, Quimper 36 kilometers south and Paris about 480 kilometers east (all information as the crow flies ).

traffic

The municipality has an exit on the expressway E 60 (Brest - Nantes ) and at Landerneau there is another on the E 50 (Brest - Rennes ). At Landerneau there is a regional train station on the Brest – Rennes and Brest – Nantes lines. Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris.

The Aéroport de Brest Bretagne regional airport is located near the city of Brest .
