Le Drennec ( Breton An Dreneg ) is a French commune in northwest Brittany in the Finistère department with 1837 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
location
The place is about twelve kilometers south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel . The major and port city of Brest is 18 kilometers southwest and Paris about 500 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).
traffic
At Brest there are the next exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes . Brest train station is the terminus of the regional train lines to Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris.
