Coat-Méal ( Breton Koz-Meal ) is a French commune in north-west Brittany in the Finistère department with 1,100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

location

The place is about ten kilometers south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel .

The major and port city of Brest is 14 kilometers south and Paris around 500 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

At Brest there are the next exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes . Brest train station is the terminus of the regional train lines to Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris.

The Aéroport de Brest Bretagne regional airport is just twelve kilometers southwest of the municipality near the city of Brest .
