Kersaint-Plabennec ( Breton Kersent-Plabenneg ) is a French commune with 1,447 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in north-western Brittany in the Finistère department .

The city and port of Brest is 12 kilometers south and Paris around 500 kilometers east (as the crow flies).

At Brest there are exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes and at Kersaint-Plabennec there is another on the E 50 .
Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris and regional trains run from Brest and Landerneau towards Morlaix / Rennes and Quimper / Nantes.
The regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne is only five kilometers southwest of the municipality near the city of Brest .
