location

The place is about ten kilometers south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel .

The major and port city of Brest is 20 kilometers south and Paris about 500 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

At Brest there are the next exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes . The Brest train station is the terminus of the regional train lines to Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris.

The regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne is only twelve kilometers south of the municipality near the city of Brest .
