Dirinon ( Dirinonn in Breton ) is a French commune in the Finistère department with 2,261 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

The place is located in the northwest of Brittany near the Atlantic coast . Brest is 16 kilometers (km) to the west and Paris about 475 km to the east (as the crow flies ).

In Daoulas is the nearest exit on the freeway E60 (Brest- Nantes ) and Landerneau at the E 50 (Brest- Rennes ). In these places there are also the nearest regional train stations on the mostly parallel railway lines.
