Guissény ( Breton Gwiseni ) is a French commune in the northwest of Brittany in the department of Finistere . The seaside resort on the English Channel coast has inhabitants in 2009 (as of January 1, 2017). Brest is 28 kilometers south and Paris about 500 kilometers east. At the eastern boundary of the municipality, the Quillimadec river flows into the Guissény Bay.

The Guissény basement is one of around 200 known basements in Brittany.
