Trégarantec is located in the northwest of Brittany just a few kilometers south of the English Channel coast . The Quillimadec River runs along the eastern boundary of the municipality .

Lesneven is 3 kilometers northwest, Brest 22 kilometers southwest and Paris about 480 kilometers east.

The nearest exits are at Landerneau and Brest on the expressway E 50 ( Rennes -Brest) and regional train stations on the Brest-Rennes and Brest- Nantes railway lines .
