The place is located in the northwest of Brittany near the Atlantic coast . Brest is 15 kilometers southwest and Paris about 475 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

The nearest exits are located on the expressway E 50 (Brest - Rennes ) and in Landerneau there is a regional train station on the mostly parallel railway line. Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris.
