Bourg-Blanc ( Breton Ar Vourc'h-Wenn ) is a French commune in northwest Brittany in the Finistère department with 3568 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

location

The place is about twelve kilometers south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel . The city and port of Brest is 12 kilometers south and Paris around 500 kilometers east (as the crow flies).

At Brest there are the next exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes . Brest train station is the terminus of the regional train lines to Rennes and Nantes and the TGV Atlantique to Paris.

The Aéroport de Brest Bretagne regional airport is only six kilometers south of the municipality near the city of Brest .
