Locmaria-Plouzané ( Breton Lokmaria-Plouzane ) is a French municipality with 5076 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the northwest of Brittany in the Finistere region .

The municipality is located in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic coast on the Côte des Abers and the Bay of Brest ( Rade de Brest ).
Brest is 12 kilometers east and Paris about 520 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

The European route 60 (Brest- Nantes ) and the European route 50 (Brest- Rennes ) end at Brest . Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris and the regional train lines in the direction of Rennes and Nantes.
