Tunde Baiyewu

Tunde Emanuel Baiyewu (born November 25, 1968 in London ) is a singer from Great Britain who became internationally known as the "voice of the Lighthouse Family ". After their dissolution, he has devoted himself to his solo career since 2004, which he began with the release of his first solo album "Tunde".

Life

Born in London, Baiyewu lived in Nigeria from the age of five after the death of his father . Ten years later he returned to England , where he attended the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and received a degree in accounting.

From January 13-16, 2007, Baiyewu returned to the stage for the first time in four years, giving concerts in Edinburgh , Manchester , Wolverhampton and London. At the concerts, Lighthouse Family Hits were combined with pieces from his album "Tunde". He was accompanied on his tour by the Duisburg singer and pianist Anke Johannsen .
