Tunga is a Franco-Belgian comic strip drawn in a realistic style by Edouard Aidans .

The adventures of the prehistoric man Tunga from the Ghmour tribe appeared for the first time in 1961 in the Belgian Tintin and its Dutch version Kuifje and in 1962 in the French edition of Tintin . After the third sequel story, written by Jacques Acar , the transition to short stories followed in 1966. While the title hero was always accompanied by his friend Nooun and the saber-toothed tiger Aramh, a female figure was added in 1969. The companion Ohama had her first appearance in Tintin Sélection , where other pocket-sized short stories and an illustrated short novel based on an idea by Jacques Acar came out. The series briefly switched to Super As in 1979 and returned to Tintin in 1983 . Lombard began publishing albums in 1964 in the Une histoire du journal Tintin , Vedette and Jeune Europe series . Lombard was also responsible for the independent series that began in 1974. A final album was created in 2004 as part of a complete edition by Joker.

The German first publication came from Koralle and took place in 1974 in Zack and Zack Parade . Feest then released three albums. In the days mosaic published Zack since then two more serials published.
