The Tuolpagorni is located in Lapland ( Sweden ) and is a mountain in front of the Kebnekaise . Its name is of Sami origin. Because of its striking appearance, it is one of Sweden's most photographed natural objects.
The Tuolpagorni gives the Kebnekaise mountain station a rugged rock face that can only be climbed on climbing routes. From the north, however, it is relatively easy to reach. Follow Västra Leden on the way to Kebnekaise through the Kittelbäcken valley and then keep left in the direction of Vieranvarri. Up to this point, the now very steep scree path is marked by red dots on stones. While it continues to the right in the direction of Kebnekaise, the hiker has to look for his own path to the summit, about 200 meters in altitude, on the left in the pathless terrain on scree.
From the summit, for example, the Kebnekaise, the Laddjuvaggi and Singivaggi valleys and, if visibility is good, the Sarek can be seen.
