The Turkish Historical Review has been published by Brill since 2010 . The paper is one of the historical journals that deals with Turkish history from the 6th century to the 21st century and therefore examines the area between Central Asia and the Mediterranean . Although the title of the magazine gives the impression that it is geared towards English-language publications, articles in French and other Western European languages, especially Turkish and in the languages of the Balkans , Russia and the Middle East , are increasingly preferred.
The editor is Kate Fleet , director of the Skilliter Center for Ottoman Studies in Cambridge, England .
