Turks Head Ridge (English for Turkish main ridge ) is a mainly icy mountain ridge in the southwest of the Antarctic Ross Island . It extends from Turks Head for a few kilometers up the slope of Mount Erebus .
Participants of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott named him based on the name of the Turks Head.
