The tower hill Tannenbuck is a defunct tower hill castle (moth) in the enemy shooting forest southeast of Rust in the Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg .
The motte , surrounded by a moat and palisade , was probably founded in the Elz lowlands in the early High Middle Ages .
The two meter high castle hill with a diameter of 20 meters still bears witness to the former castle complex. The castle site is now the Tannenbuck cultural monument and a ground monument .
