The Turner Lagoon is a small, shallow lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Larsemann Hills , it is 2.8 km northwest of Blundell Peak on the west side of the Stornes peninsula .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him in 1989 after Philip "Pip" Turner, who served as the lead helicopter pilot in the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1987 to 1988 .
