The Turret Peak is a 2790 m high and distinctive mountain peak of the Millen Range in the Victory Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 11 km northwest of Crosscut Peak . The summit is a 10 m high rock spur , which is a particularly good landmark.
Members of the New Zealand Federated Mountain Club Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) descriptively named it after the English word turret for turret .
