Tuur Dierckx (born May 9, 1995 in Broechem , Flanders ) is a Belgian football player who has been playing for Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League since 2017 .
Career
Dierckx made his Jupiler Pro League debut on July 26, 2013 against Sporting Charleroi (2-0). After he was on the pitch four times in the first five league games in the 2013/14 season, he was often not part of the matchday squad in the further course of the season. There were then only two short-term deployments.
After Dierckx only played for a few minutes in three of the first six league games in the 2014/15 season, he was loaned to KV Kortrijk for the rest of the season in early September 2014 . There, with the exception of one game, he was on the field at every game, even if not for the full duration.
After Club Bruges surrendered two other players in the winter transfer window, it was agreed in early February 2015 to end the loan early. Back in Bruges, Dierckx was regularly on the field there too.
In the summer of 2016 he moved to Royal Antwerp , who played in the second division that season, and signed a four-year contract there. As the winner of the second tranche and then the promotion games, Antwerp rose to the first division for the 2017/18 season. After he was not in the squad in the first five games of the new season in the first division, he moved to Waasland-Beveren with a three-year contract . From February to December 2018 he was injured with a cruciate ligament tear.
For the season 2020/21 he returns to KVC Westerlo in the Division 1B back. At the beginning of June 2020 he signed a contract there until the end of the 2022/23 season.
National team
Dierckx played in the youth national teams of Belgium from the U-15. With the U-17 national team , he took part in the U-17 European Championship and played there in all three group matches. Belgium eliminated there after the group stage. He also took part in European Championship qualifiers for the U-19 and U-21 national team. Dierckx has not yet been appointed to the senior national team.
