The Tversted Lakes ( Danish Tversted-søerne ) are two lakes east of the Danish town of Tversted on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy .

The lakes are located in the Tversted plantation and were created by a dam in the small Hvarrebæk stream. The dam, built in 1948 and 1952, is located near the North Sea.
The area is one of the most visited tourist centers in the region and is home to mallards , coots , pond claws and mute swans . Carp and tench live in the lakes . The lakes are partially covered by yellow and white pond roses .
