TDR (abbreviation for Croat. "Tvornica Duhana Rovinj") is a Croatian cigarette manufacturer in the legal form of a GmbH (Croatian: doo ) based in Rovinj .

TDR was founded in 1872 as a manufacturer of cigars for officers of the Austro-Hungarian army.
The company achieved the greatest increase in production from 3.4 to 6.2 billion cigarettes in 2000, when it opened up new markets in Serbia and Kosovo and was able to significantly increase its sales in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina .
In 2007, the company opened a modern production facility in the Kanfanar industrial zone near Rovinj with an annual capacity of currently 20 billion cigarettes (20,000 tons of cigarettes).
In 2014 TDR employs more than 700 people and is the leading cigarette manufacturer in ex- Yugoslavia with a market share of more than 27 percent , where approx. 59 billion cigarettes are consumed annually by approx. 27 million inhabitants. In Croatia TDR has a market share of 85 percent, in Bosnia and Herzegovina of 38 percent. Current TDR cigarette brands are Avangard, Ronhill, MC, Walter Wolf, F 160, York, Benston, Respect, Largo and Kolumbo. TDR exports to other European markets such as Austria , the Czech Republic and Slovakia , and since 2005 also to the Middle East and Africa .
On September 30, 2015, British American Tobacco took over TDR for EUR 550 million from the previous owner, Adris Grupa dd
