Twin Island ( English for twin island ) is a small island in Prydz Bay off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located north of the Lied Promontory in the Larsemann Hills area .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them in 1987 after the two dominating peaks that are separated by a plain.
