Ty Unwin

Ty Unwin , civil: Wayne Tyrone Unwin (born before 1974) is a British composer .

Career

Ty Unwin wanted to be a composer even in his youth and composed accordingly. When he was 17 years old, he won a BBC competition, where he made his first contacts in the media. After completing his first BBC assignment while he was still in college, Ty Unwin left academia to study music at the University of Huddersfield in 1990 with the intention of writing music for a living.

His stubborn determination led him over time to become an established composer in the UK specializing in writing music for media in a variety of languages. He has made a name for himself especially with documentaries in the historical and scientific fields. His work includes the television movie Supervulkan (2005) and his clients include the BBC , Channel Four , Channel Five , ITV and TLC .

In addition to television, he also wrote scores for several commercial videos and numerous orchestral works that have been performed across Europe. He currently writes and produces albums for Dina Carroll, New Model Army, Justin Sullivan and Joolz Gianni.
