Tycho van Meer (born September 30, 1974 in Eindhoven ) is a former Dutch hockey player . In the 1990s he was one of the best players in his country.

Van Meer played in the first Dutch hockey league with the clubs Oranje Zwart Eindhoven , HGC Wassenaar and Amsterdamsche H&BC . On January 30, 1994 he made his debut in the Dutch national hockey team at the international match against South Africa . Until his retirement on June 25, 2000, he played a total of 90 international matches and scored 17 goals.

He celebrated his greatest success at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta when he became Olympic champion with the Dutch team.
