Tylecodon tribblei is a plant of the genus Tylecodon in the family of Crassulaceae (Crassulaceae).

description

Tylecodon tribblei is a climbing plant that develops a single upright to spreading shoot that can reach a height of 40 centimeters. It rises from a bulbous base with white flesh, which is divided, has gray and flaky bark and is 3 to 5 centimeters wide. The bare shoots are up to 4 millimeters in diameter and are clearly ribbed. Young shoots are 2 millimeters in diameter and green in color, older ones are grayish white. No phyllopodia are formed. The ascending, linear to almost stalk-round and green leaves are 1.5 to 2 centimeters long and 1 to 2 millimeters wide. They are bare but covered with very small warts, furrowed on the top and convex in shape on the underside. The leaf tip is pointed and wilting leaves remain on the shoot.

The 6 to 7 centimeters high inflorescence consists of spread out thyrsen with upright individual flowers. The peduncle is covered with glandular hair. The flower stalk becomes 1.5 centimeters and the sepals are 4 millimeters long and 1 millimeter wide. The tubular corolla is 9 to 1 millimeters long and 3 millimeters in diameter. It is yellowish green in color and covered with clubbed glandular hairs. The light yellow-green, ribbon-shaped and spread out tips are provided with brown stripes on both sides. They are provided with glandular hairs and are 7 millimeters long and 2 millimeters wide. The tips form an attached point and are rolled back at the edges. The elongated, upright and edged nectar flakes are colored white and are 1.3 millimeters long and 0.5 millimeters wide.
