Tymandos

Tymandos (Greek Τύμανδος) was an ancient city in the Phrygia region of Asia Minor . It was between Philomelion and Apollonia , east of today's Senirkent in Turkey.

In late antiquity, Tymandos was the seat of a bishop. The titular bishopric of Tymandus of the Roman Catholic Church goes back to this diocese .
