Tyree Cooper

Tyree Cooper (born November 26th in Chicago ) is an American house musician, rapper and DJ . He is considered an important representative of hip house .

Life

Chicago-born Cooper turned to music early on. From the mid-1980s he became popular as the "Prince of Hip-House". During this time he also produced the underground hit Acid Over .

Cooper worked with greats in the Chicago house music scene, such as B. Fast Eddie , Joe Smooth , Kool Rock Steady , Peter Black , Mike Hitman Wilson, and Bad Boy Bill .

Cooper lives in Berlin, Germany and is represented by the artist agency Pearls Booking.

Since 2007 he has been working with the British DJ Bobby Starrr (bourgeois Robert Mathew Stanley) in the formation Jack The Box as a DJ duo with regular appearances at Tresor and Kater Holzig. In September 2012 Jack The Box released their first single, The Way We Walk . The second single, Pon de Undaground (May 2013), was selected by DJ Loco Dice for his Defected Compilation.

The Jack The Box album will be released in autumn 2013.
