Tyskepasset (Norwegian for German passport ) is a mountain pass in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Borg massif , it runs between Høgskavlen and Domen .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who named the pass after the nationality of its discoverers, mapped it using aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
