Tyson is a metalcore band from Kiel, founded in 2007 .
history
Tyson started out as a hardcore punk band and released the self-titled demo EP in 2008. A few weeks before the studio recordings for the first album, there was a change of line-up on the drums. The debut album Bareknuckle Fights was released in 2010 on the Kiel independent label Coast Rock Records. Joint appearances with COR and Smoke Blow followed . In order to be able to perceive extensive live activities, the band separated from two members. In addition to singing, Koch took on the role of bassist. In autumn 2012 Tyson accompanied Smoke Blow as support on their “Last Tour On Earth” throughout Germany, which increased the band's popularity. In 2014 the band released the second album Counterparts on Remedy Records .
