IP Pavlova Metro Station

The metro station IP Pavlova is a station of the Prague Metro line C . It is located in the Vinohrady district ( Prague 2 ) below the square of the same name, which is named after the Russian doctor Ivan Petrovich Pavlov . IP Pavlová is a transfer hub with connection to six tram lines and the most frequented metro station in the city (2015).

The station was opened as part of the first section of Line C on May 9, 1974. The central platform is 19 meters below street level and has been accessible via an elevator since 2015.

In the satirical science fiction film Zítra vstanu a opařím se čajem by Jindřich Polák , a vestibule of the station is a departure hall for time travelers.
