USG People Germany operated on the market through its companies Unique Personalservice , Technicum and Secretary Plus: Unique is a personnel service generalist with specializations, Technicum is the specialist for skilled workers and Secretary Plus is the specialist for the secretariat.

Company history

  • In 1972 Pieter Borgstein, Frans Platteel and Alex Mulder founded the personnel service company Unique Uitzendburo.
  • In 1979 the company headquarters moved to Almere .
  • 1989 Opening of the first foreign office in Belgium .
  • 1994 The Dutch and Belgian parts of the company merge to form Unique International BV
  • 1992 Takeover of the Belgian ICA Interim SA
  • 1997 Merger of Unique International BV with the listed company Goudsmit NV The new company is listed on the stock exchange as Unique International NV .
  • 2001 Renaming to United Services Group NV in order to illustrate the expansion of the product portfolio and the international orientation.
  • 2001 Takeover of the temporary work organization START, founded by the state and the trade unions and privatized in 1966 .
  • 2005 Acquisition of the Belgian competitor Solvus Resource Group. The merger will continue under the name USG People NV.
  • 2006 and 2007 takeover of several personnel service providers, u. a. the Dutch Utrechtse Juristen Groep, the French MultiCompta, the German GeKo Zeitarbeit and Allgeier Holding and the Spanish Professionalia.
  • In 2008, USG People becomes a strategic partner of Jark Recruitment and enters the UK recruitment market.
