USS Minnemac II (SP-202) was a U.S. Navy patrol boat in service from 1917 to 1919.
The Minnemac II was built as a civil motorboat of the same name in 1914 by George Lawley & Sons in Neponset, Massachusetts .
The US Navy took it over rent-free from its owner, Arthur J. Eddy of Chicago, Illinois on May 7, 1917 for use as a patrol boat during World War I. She was assigned to the Naval Reserve Defense Force on July 3, 1917 and entered service as the USS Minnemac II (SP-202) on July 5, 1917. Their commanding officer was Lieutenant at Sea Jerome Eddy, USNRF.
As a patrol that was Minnemac II the Great Lake assigned. She did part races in the waters of Lake Michigan from her assigned base.
After the end of the First World War , the Minnemac II was returned to its owner on January 13, 1919.
