UT motorcycle from 1926

UT Motoren- und Fahrzeugbau was a German motorcycle manufacturer. Its history goes back to a metal processing company that Hermann Scheihing opened in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim in 1922 . The brand name used was " UT " ( U nter T ürkheim). There were separate and JAP - two-stroke engines installed.

In 1927, the Bergmüller & Co machine factory in Vaihingen on the Fildern near Stuttgart took over the production of UT motorcycles . Its own two-stroke engines (until 1928), but also engines from JAP, MAG , Blackburne and Richard Küchen were used.

In 1931, the Bergmüller & Co employees, Schwenk and Schnürle, took over the machine factory, and the production of UT motorcycles was moved to Möhringen a. d. Fildern relocated. Motorcycle production ended there in 1962. The Stuttgart Bible Museum is now located in the UT motorcycle factory on Balinger Strasse .
