Ubisoft Romania (formerly: Ubisoft Bucharest ) is a Romanian developer studio of the French game publisher Ubisoft , based in Bucharest . It was founded in 1992 and developed some titles in the Silent Hunter series as well as the HAWX series. It also worked on the titles Watch Dogs , Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed III, among others .

history

Ubisoft Romania was founded in 1992. It was the first Ubisoft studio outside of France and initially consisted of a team of six. By 2016 the number of employees rose to 886. In 2008, a second Ubisoft studio in Craiova was opened in Romania .
