Udo Hoesch

Udo Hoesch (born March 14, 1892 in Gernsbach ; † January 1968 in Karlsruhe ) was a German paper manufacturer.

Hoesch comes from the industrial family Hoesch . He was born the son of the paper manufacturer Hugo Hoesch (1859–1912). His father was plant manager at the Schoeller & Hoesch GmbH silk and cigarette paper factory in Gernsbach. After the early death of his father, he joined the company in 1914 and took over the technical management of the company alongside his brother Felix (1888–1956), who took care of commercial matters. In addition, both were still involved as limited partners with an investment of 300,000 marks each in the chemical factory Pott & Co. , based in Dresden .
