Udo Redmann (born October 22, 1942 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Redmann completed a game for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the 1968/69 season in the regional league. The season ended Oberhausen, ahead of the rival Rot-Weiss Essen in the western season, as champions. The subsequent promotion round was successfully completed, so Redmann was with his teammates in the Bundesliga . In the upper house he came to two substitutions for goalkeeper Wolfgang Scheid , under promotion coach Alfred Preißler . In his first game, against Hamburger SV in front of a home crowd, he was substituted on from the 20th minute, when the score was 0: 1. Redmann received two more hits, the game was lost 1: 3. His second appearance followed on matchday 24, in the away game at TSV 1860 Munich , it was already 3: 1 for the Munich Lions. He could not parry a free kick by Wilfried Kohlars , so that the final score of 4: 1 was established.
