Udo Stein

Udo Stein (* 1983 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD). He has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since March 2016 .

Stein first attended secondary school and then completed the secondary school leaving certificate. He then trained as a retailer. He then worked for a medium-sized fashion company in the Hohenlohe area for over ten years in a managerial position. He is married and has a son.

Stein is a member of the Alternative for Germany. He was in the state elections in Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2016 with 17.8 percent of votes in the constituency Schwäbisch Hall (Constituency 22) in the state parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg selected.

Stein is a member of the Committee for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection and a deputy member of the Committee for Home Affairs, Digitization and Migration, Finance, Culture, Youth and Sport, Science, Research and Art, Economy, Labor and Housing, Europe and International Affairs, Petitions Committee and a member of the standing committee.

Udo Stein is also AfD district spokesman for his district association Hohenlohe / Schwäbisch Hall and chairman of the working group for rural areas / consumer protection in his parliamentary group.

Stein is also his party's delegate for the AfD Federal Convention, which meets at irregular intervals in Kassel. Resolutions on the party's political orientation are made there.

Positions

In his opinion, Stein takes positions similar to those of the CSU in migration policy : economic refugees should be deported, others should be granted asylum . He criticized Baden-Württemberg's educational policy and, from his point of view, lamented an “ early sexualization of children”.

Udo Stein is a hunter and is therefore particularly committed to the concerns of the hunters in Germany.

controversy

In the state parliament debate about the exclusion of the AfD state parliament member Wolfgang Gedeon , he was heavily criticized for an interjection.
