The Uetersener inland dune is a natural monument in the Pinneberg district .

The Ice Age inland dune is located on an industrial area in the southeast of the city of Uetersen and, along with the Lange Anna and the Holmer Sandberge, is one of the three natural monuments in the Pinneberg district that need special protection. The 1.5 hectare dune lies at a level of around 4 meters above sea level and is accessible via a small path. The vegetation with birch , oak and pine continues in an easterly direction and merges into a forest area, so that the original dune is no longer recognizable. To the south it borders on the wet meadows of the Pinnau , which belong to the LSG 8 ("Middle Pinnau") nature reserve. Due to the unusual location conditions, it offers a habitat for rare animal and plant species that have specialized in dry and nutrient-poor living conditions.
