Ugo Errera

Ugo Errera (born October 25, 1843 in Venice , † April 23, 1888 ibid) was an Italian lawyer , composer and pianist .

Life

Ugo Errera was born on October 25, 1843 in the city ​​of Venice , which was part of the Kingdom of Lombardo-Venetia , which in turn was part of the Austrian Empire . His main occupation was a lawyer , but he also tried his hand at being an amateur pianist , where he was considered talented, and a composer . He was also a member of the academic council of the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello and in 1867, together with the violinist Giuseppe Contin di Castelseprio , also known as Giuseppe Contin, and the banker Gustavo Koppel, proposed to found a concert company, which was later called Società Veneziana di Concerti really came into being.
