Ugo Errera
Ugo Errera (born October 25, 1843 in Venice , † April 23, 1888 ibid) was an Italian lawyer , composer and pianist .
Life
Ugo Errera was born on October 25, 1843 in the city of Venice , which was part of the Kingdom of Lombardo-Venetia , which in turn was part of the Austrian Empire . His main occupation was a lawyer , but he also tried his hand at being an amateur pianist , where he was considered talented, and a composer . He was also a member of the academic council of the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello and in 1867, together with the violinist Giuseppe Contin di Castelseprio , also known as Giuseppe Contin, and the banker Gustavo Koppel, proposed to found a concert company, which was later called Società Veneziana di Concerti really came into being. In the years before his death he appeared as an editor for the art department of the illustrated magazine L'Esposizione Artistica Nazionale illustrata . Errera died on April 23, 1888 at the age of 44 in his native Venice.
