The house at Uhlandstrasse 57 in Heilbronn is a listed building.
description
The building was the home of the master joiner Friedrich Hubmann and was built in 1894 according to his plans in the neo-renaissance style. The façade is structured in the middle by a polygonal bay window with a bonnet as the top. Above it is a high curved gable. There are also terraces on the roof.
history
In 1898, Hubmann had the neighboring house at Uhlandstrasse 61 built according to plans by Ludwig Roth, as well as the Hotel Hubmann, also designed in the neo-renaissance style and now also a listed building, in Wilhelmstrasse according to plans by August Dederer .
The residential building at Uhlandstraße 57 was owned by district notary Eugen Baumann in 1950, who used the ground floor. Two apartments were rented on the first and second floors. Baumann was retired in 1961, and the rental apartments on the first and second floors now comprised the entire floor.
