Uhlandstrasse 67 and 69 (Heilbronn)
The semi-detached house Uhlandstrasse 67 and 69 is a historic building in Heilbronn . As a cultural monument , it is under monument protection .
history
The multi-family house for working class and craftsman families was built in 1906/07 together with the neighboring houses at Uhlandstrasse 71/73 and Uhlandstrasse 75 for the landlord Heinrich Creyaufmüller and the master carpenter Karl Klenk. The plans for the three buildings in the style of late historicism come from the Heilbronn master builder Carl Mödinger.
In 1950, half of the house No. 67 belonged to Friederike Ensinger. Kurt Baier ran a dairy shop on the ground floor. No. 69 belonged to Adolf Schober. In 1961 Frederike Ensinger was still alive, but No. 67 was already owned by the Ensinger community of heirs. The dairy shop still existed. No. 69 had passed into the possession of the widow Lotte Schober. Hermann Kirchner ran a typewriter repair workshop on the ground floor.
The sculptural, figurative details of the building are remarkable, such as the relief image of the master chimney sweep Eugen Ensinger on house number 67.
