history
In 1950 the house no.74 belonged to the gardener Karl Hottmann. The photographer Richard Ruff used the ground floor. No. 76 belonged to August Able. Ingeborg Göhl ran a studio for women's hats on the second floor, and the architects Stuber & Beckmann used other rooms on the second floor. In 1961 the ownership structure hadn't changed, but the photographer, hat studio and architect's office were no longer in the building.
description
The double house was built in 1902 for Karl Geiger, Eugen Walz and August Stadler according to plans by August Dederer in the style of late historicism in its neo-Gothic variant. It has shoulder arches on the windows and bay windows with three-pass arches and battlements. There are colored wall paintings with late Gothic motifs above the windows of the first floor.
