Uhlenhorst (Namibia)
Uhlenhorst is a settlement in the Hardap region in Namibia , about 130 kilometers north of Mariental at the intersection of the main roads C15 and C25 .
The agricultural area around Uhlenhorst, which is characterized by farms , is best known for the Swakara ( Karakulfelle ) breeding . Reimar von Hase and his wife have been running the Anin embroidery here since 1987 , which at times gave jobs to 300 women from the Hoachanas area .
The Farmerverein Uhlenhorst was a multiple winner of the national " Braai competition ".
30 and 40 km north of Uhlenhorst are the astro farms Tivoli and Kiripotib as well as the glider farm Kiripotib and the Klein-Nauas-Schutztruppe tower . The Bitterwasser glider airfield is 20 km south of Uhlenhorst.

The Miss Germany 2020, Leonie von Hase , grew up on the farm Jena on in Uhlenhorst.
