The Klein Nauas Schutztruppenturm , also known as the Hindenburg Tower , is a historic defense tower in Namibia .
It was built by the German protection forces in German South West Africa against the Rehobother Baster uprising . The tower stands at the intersection of the main road C15 and the secondary roads D1448 about 43 km north of Uhlenhorst and 77 km east of Rehoboth .
The Klein Nauas Schutztruppe Tower was one of numerous fortresses of the Schutztruppe in South West Africa. It still has tourist value today .
