The Ulan-Burgassy Mountains ( Russian Улан-Бургасы ) is a low mountain range in the western Transbaikal area in the Russian Republic of Buryatia .
The Ulan-Burgassy Mountains extend over a length of 200 km in northeast-southwest direction between the rivers of Turka in the north and Kurba in the south. The heights are on average 1400–1800 m. The highest point is the Gora Churchag with 2049 m . Mountain steppe vegetation grows on the southern slopes at an altitude of 700–800 m. Above that, up to an altitude of 1600 m, the larch taiga comes to the fore. Even higher up you will find uncultivated terrain and bare peaks.
