Ulf Prange

Ulf Prange (born July 25, 1975 in Oldenburg (Oldenburg) ) is a German lawyer, politician ( SPD ) and member of the state parliament of Lower Saxony .

biography

Ulf Prange grew up in Oldenburg. After graduating from high school Eversten Oldenburg he studied at the University of Osnabrück , the de Marne Paris-Val and the Humboldt University in Berlin jurisprudence . He completed his legal training with the second state examination in 2003. He has been working as a lawyer since 2004 .

politics

From 2003 to 2019, Prange was chairman of the SPD local association Stadtmitte-Süd / Osternburg. He has been a member of the Oldenburg City Council from 2006 to May 2013 and since November 2016. After the long-standing MP Wolfgang Wulf decided not to run again, Ulf Prange applied for the relatively safe SPD direct mandate in the Oldenburg-Mitte / Süd state constituency and won the constituency in the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2013 with 35.6% of the first votes like its predecessor. In the state elections in 2017 , Ulf Prange again won the direct mandate with 41.19% of the first votes.
