Talia'uli "Uli" Latukefu (born August 2, 1983 ) is an Australian actor of Tongan descent.

life and career

Uli Latukefu, who has Tongan roots, attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in the New South Wales Territory . In 2004 he was a nominee on the Australian singing show Australian Idol . He made his acting debut in front of the camera in 2014 with a small role in the miniseries Jonah from Tonga . He then appeared in a supporting role as Father Matteo in the Australian thriller series Devil's Playground . From 2014 to 2016 he was part of the cast of the Netflix series Marco Polo in the role of Byamba . In 2017 he appeared as Cole in a supporting role in Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant and also took on a recurring role as Darren in the drama series The Heart Guy . In 2018 he played supporting roles in the series Sando and Harrow . In 2019 he appeared as Bombardier Ray Ngatai in the Australian feature film Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan . In 2020 a supporting role in the series The End followed .

Latukefu has been married to Pamela Savieti, who lives in Sydney , since 2014 .
