Ulrich Cell (born June 19, 1951 in Obernkirchen ) is a German television presenter , reporter and singer .

Live and act

Ullizell trained as an advertising clerk in Hanover , then studied social and business communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin and then completed his second degree in journalism at the Free University of Berlin . During her studies, Ullizell worked as a freelancer for agencies and newspapers. At that time he lived in Berlin-Kreuzberg. He worked as a reporter for SFB radio from 1984 and for television from 1985. In 1993 he hosted a talk show for VOX . From 1994, cell moderated the program Berlin life at the Sender Freies Berlin (SFB) , and he also worked on other programs.

Cell shot the film programs Kulturreport and Bilderbuch Deutschland for ARD , and still works as a reporter for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB). Cell moderated the program Heimatjournal in alternation with Carla Kniestedt until 2019 .

Ullizell is also the singer in his band Ulli & Die Grauenzellen , which specializes in rock (including The Beatles , Eric Burdon , The Rolling Stones ).

He has had his own talk show since 2016: in “Ullis Nachtcafé” in Berlin's Schlosspark Theater , Ullizell meets the stars of current productions and plays with his band Ulli und die Grauenzellen.

Cell lives in Berlin-Gatow.
