Ulrich Czermak

Ulrich Andreas Czermak (born September 5, 1967 in Marktredwitz ) is a former German modern pentathlon .

Ulrich Czermak started for the OSC Münchener Sportclub , at a height of 1.84 m he weighed 69 kg at competition times. In the junior division he won the Bavarian junior championship title in 1985, still as an A-youth. In 1990 he was third in the German championships, in 1991 runner-up and in 1992 he won his only championship title. He made it onto the podium twice at world championships, each time with the relay. In 1989 he was runner- up in Budapest with Nico Motchebon and Uwe Zimmer and in 1991 third in the line-up of Olschewski , Motchebon and Czermak in San Antonio . Czermak was a participant in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. In the individual competition he was in the victory of Poland Arkadiusz Skrzypaszek 45th, with the team consisting of Dirk Knappheide , Czermak and Pawel Olschewski, eleventh. In the individual, he had his best results in fencing and shooting, but could not get along with the horse he was allocated and was third to last in riding.
